His eye in this game is not damaged. Its what you are using basically as your map so to speak. Its got different visions out of it, at least thats what im seeing from other trailers and what not. But his eye is fine. As for Big Boss out of MGS3, it was shot out by revolver ocelot while snake was in Volgins torture room.

Solid Snake and Liquid Snake were clones from Big Boss and Big Boss was killed by Solid Snake. If MGS 4 takes place 10 years after the "big shell" game or MGS 2, then that that means just about everybody involved with in MGS 3 is dead. With the exception of Revolver Occilot. So the snake in MGS 4 is not Big Boss and that means he did not get his eye shot out by the "russian guy" in MGS 3.
Yeah, the suit that Gray Fox used was stepped on by a bipedal tank, and then strewn across the floor like a bug. I doubt that Snake would want to dig Frank Jaeger's now horribly disfigured body from a suit, fix it all up just to use it again for some person. I'm just looking at it at a crazy person's perspective. Anyways, I thought Raiden was okay in Sons of Liberty, but.. He needed more. This is what he needed...

2.Portable Ops(the events after snake eater)
3.Metal Gear Solid 1
4.Sons of liberty
5.Then its mgs4.thats why they didn't introduce Raiden in MGS3
