Life isn't always roses and sunshine, sometimes there is no happy ending.

I think Mac was trying to show that he could be more than just that wise-ass from the "Home Alone" franchise. I think he succeeded. It also made me respect him a little more as well (as an actor) for taking a role like that - a role that could have ruined him.

Surprised many americans didn't watch this great film....

I saw this back in 1993 when it came out, and i'm an arab who lives in the middle east lol

M Culkin took a HUGE chance taking this role which made me respect him as an actor, i mean...he WAS the biggest star at that time, i think half the actors now would milk their good image to make money-ask will farrel- and this kid does a 180 to be taken serious as an actor.

I fucking love this movie. The part where they're up in the tree and Mark almost falls and Henry's holding his hand and says "can you fly?" Later after Mr. Highway, he says how he realizes he can do anything he wants, and it's like flying. The last part where they're at the cliff and he does his most evil action, he didn't fly. This was film was deep for me, and it made me think how easy it is to not just be mean, but be fucking evil and hide it all in a smile.
