My problem however is that the credit card company held my 500 dollar deposit i put on my hotel room for 3 months because thats how long the hotel has to make a claim on it. A normal credit card wouldn't be a problem, but because it was pre-paid this was 250 bucks out of my pocket.
I just use the visa pre-paid credit card, but I don't use it like a regular credit card. I just use it to buy shit online instead of using a paypal account. O.o
What a hassle. I try not to use my credit card for that same reason. Mom and pop motels are not as nice buy they accept cash just the name. No cards needed!
