You are truly an inspiration to other pregnant women out there. I know so many pregnant women who use their pregnancy as an excuse to be sedentary and to be completely lax about their diet. The best way to recover from a pregnancy and return to your post pregnancy level of fitness and body composition is to stay fit during your pregnancy and to watch your diet during your pregnancy. I wish all pregnant women could watch your video.
@alphacause Thanks so much! I'm also trying to stay fit specifically for the health of my baby. Studies show that moms who exercise have babes will healthier and stronger hearts!
@fritchbeetle Part of us going paleo is to ready our bodies for optimal baby making conditions - and I hope to be able to get into some strength training by then since I have also read about the health benefits of a fit mom! Definitely an inspiration, keep up the great work! Have you experienced any "typical" symptoms like morning sickness with the paleo lifestyle? I read one fellow's blog who said that his wife has had none of them on paleo, but they had no prior pregnancies to compare to.
@ihrmc I had mild morning sickness during the first trimester. I suspect that this is hormonally related and I'm a glad my hormones were working properly! ;)
@fritchbeetle Haha yes I guess I can't expect any miracle avoidance of the morning sickness due to diet alone... though I am secretly hoping for it! Wishing you all the best, Jackie
