Pls someone reply fast! I did stole the rod and went into the lakeside laboratory and whiped out my rod and the game froze.Before that I saved.And when I restarted my game,I had the Deku Stick on and couldn't equip the Biggoron Sword.PLS someone HELP ME!!

if you do this on the n64 you have a VERY HIGH chance of your game freezing!!! make sure to save or you might e screwed!!! i had to do half the water temple over again!!

Yes you can do this as child link. Only I did it while targeting a fish and diving and I somehow cast the rod while swimming, so you can move and leave

He doesn't pull out the deku stick in the GCN Master Quest version for me but it's still a fun glitch to do. You can swordless if you pause and unpause in the water

@condoman45 You probably not at the right spot in the water. You have to be right at the shallowest part of the pond that's still deep enough for Link to dive in. This glitch requires a lot of precision. Just keep trying.

@maxdabest32 The crescent moon and star design too closely resembled Islamic symbols, so when the game was re-released for the GameCube, they made a religiously-neutral symbol. Also, this symbol appeared on some movable blocks, which were also changed. The song of the Fire Temple was also changed after the vocals were rumored to be changing in Arabic.

Furthermore, if you "break" the invisible stick (hit it against a wall), then the Master Sword's blade come flying out of nowhere and disappears. When you press B again, he brings out another invisible stick, and it can be done again. *

I've experimented with this glitch, and for people who are having trouble pulling it off, you should know that the speed at which you mash B isn't everything. Link's proximity to the shore seems to be a deciding factor. I'm using a turbo B button, and sometimes the glitch doesn't work depending on Link's position. Since Link always bobs in the water, I'm afraid I can't give a reference point, but keep trying different positions until you find one that works. Good luck.

You lied to me... this only works in the original and the first revamp (1.1). This does not work in the second revamp (1.2). I have tested every version and this is not possible on 1.2, and neither are alot of awesome glitches I have seen, such as I cannot get Slide to work on 1.2 either (just for the purpose of saying so).

All that means is that you didn't press B at the right time. There's a specific time that you have to press it at to get it to work. It can seem quite random, so you just have to keep repeating the process until it works. I normally get it on my first or second attempt.

In the pond by the log there a few rocks, there are 2 rocks that really close to each other, if u step in between them 2, they (rocks) will push Link away but if u step in the middle, cast the line, and press start and change the boots to the hover boots then they will push out but Link will float for a few seconds, after he falls u r done, get out and jump in the lake, press start and when u unpause u wont have the anything on the B button. (U can use iron boots 2 get in between the rocks).

Actually its really easy, just step in, cast line, press start, change boots and voila... thats it... u cannot do wrong. Trust me if u do it, its not cuz u got lucky, it is cuz its really easy. Sound complicated maybe, but it aint. It takes maybe a min or so. Really easy. Try it.

Fun stuff. Since the video is apparently gone or something, to do this trick you swim to the edge of the pond, where diving will make you stand up out of the water. then dive and tap b like crazy, and the rod should cast without link swinging his arm. now press l twice to get the camera on link, then walk out =D

well, if you have the hover boots, you can walk into the water, and while you are hovering, cast the rod, and easily you can walk outside with the rod( when u get in the water of lake hylia, press pause, you will now have no rod)

Make sure you have 0 deku sticks. This way, you can do the bottle B trick and begin with bottle adventure. If you're using the gamecube version, you can use the deku stick.

After stealing it, jump in the water. WHILE in the water, pause and unpause. If you pause after getting out of the water, you'll get a deku stick, and if you use that on the N64 version, it'll freeze.
