This was in Turkey and its so so sad. He probably thought that she was sleeping. I've been to Turkey before and its beautiful but unfortunately there are TENS of millions of strays there and they are all skin and bones like the cat it this video. Heart breaking.

It is so very sad, I imagine he was puzzled, went into shock , desperately trying and refusing to give up, gradually feeling hopeless until finally grieving . He must be so much in love with her to feel this range of human emotion

It's sad to notice how IGNORANT some people are. It's not CPR. Kneading is a sign of affection for cats. Obviously this cat knew his partner was hurt. He was trying to show affection. Animals DO NOT perform CPR.
