Opie and anthony are fuckin' idiots. As Jonmad17 says, a few months later Russell was on their show and they proceeded to be sycophantic and pretty much endorse his MTV VMA performance. In this clip, in agreeing with Jim Jeffries, they are saracastically referring to his Bush and Jonas Brothers comments as 'oh how edgy' etc. In this clip O & P lament 'phoneys', well, check out Russell's interview with O & P and see how phoney they show themselves to be.

@MrJohnthesavage You're right, that annoyed the shit out of me. And I'm a fan of O&A, I think their show is excellent, but the way they handled Russell Brand with kid gloves was bullshit. They shouldn't have even had him in. Then again, they also have Dane Cook call in, so I don't know what the fuck to believe. They still have great comics on the show like Louis and Jeffries and others, but i guess no show is perfect.

Why do the English get so worked up when someone says one of their entertainers aren't that good? The prank calls were edgy for the sake of being edgy; calling up some old guy and just yelling I FUCKED YOUR GRANDAUGHTER isn't comedy gold no matter which side of the pond your on.
