If this comes down to a conventional war America and its allies will win if it comes down to an insurgency were the Iranians hide behind the civilian population than it will be a political loss for America and its allies Because America doesn't have the heart to bomb every single civilian town or city to kill the few insurgents. Iran was not equipped nor do they had any experience..most of the qualified officers were dismissed by the revolution and they left the country...and during that 8 yrs..Iraq was supported by the USA..and supplied with all the tech and satellite mapping by the USA.
