@TheIntruders This WAS part of a british programme but the video was obviously created elswhere and played on it. Its a mystery and I don't have the answer to that!
. I remember in the 70s how so many people in the record business tried to change him. He insisted on doing it his way, and with every successful album the more they tried to change him. Not one to give up after his record company refused to record him, Bill united with jazz musicians(like Wilton Felder and Grover Washington Jr), not using his name and still had hits. "Just The Two Of Us" was one of the biggest hits of 1981. Bill proved that you could be soulful and at the same time respectful.
@neofunkyman1 Cool. There was a full version on YouTube two years ago. Don't know what happened. Anyway, I'm glad that you posted it! Merry Christmas!
Bill quit music because he became disillusioned with the music industry but he deprived his fans of so much more music he could have produced...i guess we just have to hold onto pieces like this
This is most likely from a British TV show. They loved him over there well into the 80's. I can tell you that MTV probably never played this video.

Why was the video cut?

@ethurst2 came from a tv programme that cut to credits so that was deleted leaving only the song.

Don't forget Bill"s "Family Table", originally from the "Making Music, Making Friends" album. A good companion piece to "Oh Yeah".
