It depends if your using a router and a ethernet cable(actually not but if your using one)and the conection of the router to the satellite.Check on google to make your xbox 360 not make laggy matches.....

Hope that helps....Because I'm using the same thing and when I play halo 3 I kept coming back to the same place I started walking...So yah

Ok so Its that Laggy Because some Either Does Not Have DSL or Cable internet and The other option is Satellite internet wich has a lag time When Your On Xbox LIVE Be Aware it happens all to much.

Yeah, this is a case of extremely bad lag, but you know what? If this was a rare thing, it would be perfectly acceptable. Probably 45 games out of 50 lag to one degree or another...why?! Go play Halo 3 online, it plays buttery smooth 99% of the time. This games online setup is garbage, even after Epic promised they were fixing this crap! I will not buy Gears 3 until I read a review that confirms those idiots over at Epic finally set up dedicated servers for Gears multiplayer.
