Even friendly dogs like golden retrievers can be vicious, but it's very rare. I had a golden retriever 12 years ago, brought him home, was nothing but caring, loving & affectionate to him; payed attention to him 24/7, but one day he nearly bit a family member in the face & growled...that's when i had to take him back to the breeder. I've owned 6 goldens and all but that one were/are such awesome, fun dogs! So ultimately, it's rare, but any breed can have a natural mental mind set to be vicious.

Huskies dangerous? I never heard a word against them. Malamutes can be close to 200 pounds not overweight I knew 2 that looked like whales with legs. There are foreign breeds you ignored, Turkey, Argentina, Japan etc. Most dangerous "dog" is usually a pure wolf and can certainly bite harder than any domestic dog no matter how macho they are. Alsatian/wolf hybrids were used for riot control in the former South Africa & admitted to be more dangerous than pitts. American bulldogs also.
my buddy and his family moved to the US from Russia when he was 16 and they brought a caucasian shepard with them...........it would probably eat any of the dogs on this list.

Any large dog can be a threat to humans. It all really depends on the training the dogs have. It's so sad that pitbulls and rotties are always at the top of the list because bad people buy them and train them badly. Most of them are actually very loving, and neither are on the top three list of bite cases in america. golden retrievers bite more than pits because they have a soft mouth and so aren't scolded for biting as a puppy.
There are way more golden retrievers than pits. Also, pit bites tend to be way more damaging. I do think that pits and rotts aren't dramatically more aggressive than other dogs, it's just that when they are aggressive, they are way more dangerous. Pits are ugly status symbols, and that's why they get aggressive, because that's their whole reason for existing.

Huskies dangerous? I never heard a word against them. Malamutes can be close to 200 pounds not overweight I knew 2 that looked like whales with legs. There are foreign breeds you ignored, Turkey, Argentina, Japan etc. Most dangerous "dog" is usually a pure wolf and can certainly bite harder than any domestic dog no matter how macho they are. Alsatian/wolf hybrids were used for riot control in the former South Africa & admitted to be more dangerous than pitts. American bulldogs also.

I, Myself, have a Doberman Pinscher and A German Shepherd living together for the past 4 years, When they were small puppies i used to flick their noses when they bit.
Now, my two dogs are very VERY obedient. their very kind too.
Once, a robber went into my backyard, Boris(Doberman) Bit a chunk of his ass off, and my GSD (Rusty) Was barking and ramming the burglar.
Its really up to the owner to determine how the dog will act when its older.

Any large dog can be a threat to humans. It all really depends on the training the dogs have. It's so sad that pitbulls and rotties are always at the top of the list because bad people buy them and train them badly. Most of them are actually very loving, and neither are on the top three list of bite cases in america. golden retrievers bite more than pits because they have a soft mouth and so aren't scolded for biting as a puppy.

There are way more golden retrievers than pits. Also, pit bites tend to be way more damaging. I do think that pits and rotts aren't dramatically more aggressive than other dogs, it's just that when they are aggressive, they are way more dangerous. Pits are ugly status symbols, and that's why they get aggressive, because that's their whole reason for existing.
