I have lived in the ghetto, where my car got stolen and I had to deal with drug dealers and hookers in the apartment building. Sometimes I only ate because the restaurant I worked at had leftover food. I never robbed anybody or raped anybody. When I had sex I used condoms so I didn't have kids I wouldn't have been able to support. You can come from a horrific environment but it doesn't justify commiting crimes.

What I know about feminism, is that it does create schisms within any movement that is race-specific, dividing it because the identity of the race is weakened and the identity of gender is increased. Cultures with Patriarchal systems of Authority are better able to promote unity to defeat the 'other'. And that's what I think TBA is trying to do. Far-rightist leaders in any ethnic group, usually clamp down on dissent coming from distracting internal minorities (women, gays, etc).

What I meant is that feminism combats the social stigma that men can have sex all they want to while women must remain chaste. I agree that moms of any kind should not engage in casual sex.
In a word pregnancy. one man can impregnates thousands of women. So it is mandatory for women to be highly selective when choosing mates. There was a time before condoms, legal abortion and birth control in which single women were expected to remain chaste. It takes time for social norms to die. There is nothing wrong with women having casual sex but those women can't expect the same respect as a more chaste woman.

I guess you've never heard someone say "you've earned my respect". Married women get some "respect", but they also get the headaches (the sick days, the dirty laundry, the messes to clean, etc.) If that's not a process of "earning respect" then I don't know what is. In my eyes, respect is earned when I get to see what the person is about, and it can easily be lost. What society sees as fitting is not something I blindly follow. We can agree to disagree.
I used to cringe when someonewould say a person "earns" their respect. I just see it as an obstacle people use to deny people of their rightful human dignity. Respect is in my opinion think something we're born with. I just find that way keeps me more grounded.

I have lived in the ghetto, where my car got stolen and I had to deal with drug dealers and hookers in the apartment building. Sometimes I only ate because the restaurant I worked at had leftover food. I never robbed anybody or raped anybody. When I had sex I used condoms so I didn't have kids I wouldn't have been able to support. You can come from a horrific environment but it doesn't justify commiting crimes.

What I know about feminism, is that it does create schisms within any movement that is race-specific, dividing it because the identity of the race is weakened and the identity of gender is increased. Cultures with Patriarchal systems of Authority are better able to promote unity to defeat the 'other'. And that's what I think TBA is trying to do. Far-rightist leaders in any ethnic group, usually clamp down on dissent coming from distracting internal minorities (women, gays, etc).

I never even knew this gender war existed in black america before I came on YouTube. As a WM, especially on a University Campus, I typically threw feminism in the same boat as any left-leaning cause, or non-white nationalist movement, b/c they all had some sort of grievance with WM.
Socialists, even feminists on campus, typically made alliances and marched with anti-white nationalist student organizations (blacks, arabs), especially during the Iraq and Afghan wars.

Yeah I know, my convo with TBA didn't get very far. I told him I was from Toronto and that my experience with black women wasn't what he described and that many white men don't feel as he sdays WM do, but every black man on that page ganged up and told me that since I was not from the Us, I was not qulaified to comment. There was a time before condoms, legal abortion and birth control in which single women were expected to remain chaste. It takes time for social norms to die. I guess you've never heard someone say "you've earned my respect". Married women get some "respect", but they also get the headaches (the sick days, the dirty laundry, the messes to clean, etc.) If that's not a process of "earning respect" then I don't know what is.
