They get a bit of spray when you are beating into the wind ( what small boat doesn't ) but we added a windshield to ours and it made it perfect for the forward cockpit. The aft is nearly always dry. It is such a fun and trouble and free boat to own and to sail. We have had WAY too many boats and we use this more than all put together. And it such a blast to take out first timers and let them find out that they can actually sail it well in a very short time.They all come back wanting more. me 2.
I almost bought a windrider some time ago...they never quite caught on in the UK...did they? sure looks fast though...and made out of the fancy plastic etc it looks to be a winner.
