  • i did it for chump change/ cuz it was a love thing, this dude is the illest!

  • On top of the whole Little Red Riding Hood reference, "Spit your flow backwards"=Wolf

Crazy how you can listen to this type of music forever and still catch things you've never heard before.

  • Whats with these Fucking cosmetic ADs before a One Be Lo joint. GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE! FUCK YOUTUBE.. put that bullshit before a drake record, or one of those other waxy ass, fake bitches

  • Whats with these Fucking cosmetic ADs before a One Be Lo joint. GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE! FUCK YOUTUBE

  • WOW real hip hop....and i'm not talking about the adidas ad.

  • @JimenezLeon haha yeah, i saw that BULLSHIT too man.

  • Woah.

  • One be Lo, aceyalone and macklemore are my favorite emcees each with a unique perfected style

  • Rap is garbage; this is poetry.

  • @OneUhBuv This is both.

  • @kennboy1 This is Hip-Hop; it's a combination of the two. the best Rap nowadays is more associated with heads like Waka Flocka, but the best Hip-Hop is associated with heads like One Be Lo.

  • @OneUhBuv Rap is the music. Hip Hop is the culture. Hip hop is made out of four elements, DJing, Graffiti, Breakdancing and emceeing. Rap is emceeing. Rap and Hip Hop is not a difference of "real", rap is the music, hip hop is the culture.

  • @kennboy1 But I'm talking about the difference between people who associate themselves more with rap, and those who associate themselves with hip-hop.

  • @OneUhBuv They need to be educated about it also. They are wrong. But they are also right because Hip hip includes rap and rap is apart of Hip Hop. So as rappers, they are rap, and they are hip hop. But they can't try to associate with one more than the other because they are participating and contributing to both. It's just they don't understand that.

  • @OneUhBuv RAP=Rhyme and Poetry ;)

  • @arbeitslos123456 If that's your very own, humanity owes you gratitude for it.

  • Top 5 dead or alive

  • There are very few emcees who are better than this man, but there are many who have better marketing schemes. Long live the subterraneous masterminds.

  • Imagine that I buyed this record in my small town in France ! what a surprise to discover it !!

  • if u never listened to binary star u never were a hip hop fan

  • @666Vandel666 haha thats true for me. ok i was interested in hiphop but only german. my friend heard redman etc. but it was not my genre. one day i was chatting in a irc channel over hiphop, i asked in the round "name me a really good hiphop song" answer was "binary star - reality check" and i was addicted :D

  • This isn't meant for the radio. You don't turn this up at an intersection. You sit down at two in the morning, by yourself, put some headphones on and turn this just right and you think about your life. All of it. And you realize you've done alright.

  • @deenoh and with a blunt

  • Is it me or does this dude sound like Mase a little?

  • @Free411 not lyrically just with the flow, one be lo would murder Mase lyrically

  • Looks like 3 people didn't hit the snooze button when they woke up.

  • "you get a cd for ten but i'll sign it for free"

"bar codes, thats the sign of the beast, now the latest pagan faces be the flyest MCs, hand shaking like a mason with the highest degree"

damn thats dopamine for the brain. One Be Lo, one of the best to do it.

  • he talkin about Jayz n Kanye?

  • probably when he says the hand shaking line

  • one be lo is dope so is the song!!

  • knew about him when binary star first came out...hes a legend

  • this is the first time I've heard of this guy and he's amazing. How does this go unnoticed but every shitty Timbaland song gets mad radio play?

  • Welcome to the underground.

  • @supergrantbros one be lo is internationally known on the microphone theres ton of dope underground shit its just hidden from the mainstream for a reason

  • agreed. Dig deep and you can find heaps of dope shit, check my favourites ive found heaps of hidden gems

  • @supergrantbros thats the world never justice

  • @supergrantbros radio killed hip hop so did the music industry but luckily for us we have underground hip hop where real hip hop lives peace and one love

  • @supergrantbros rofl you need to ask????

  • @supergrantbros because its not club music hah

  • @supergrantbros

because this is too smart and too real for most people.

  • @supergrantbros because the music industry is and will always be a push-production system, people (the masses) don't choose what they get to listen to, the radio and major labels decide and "push" the music onto the consumers, so people like yourself will only get to listen to what's been promoted to you; it's a basic economical principle.

  • @supergrantbros Lets face it, good hip-hop never gets recognized because good hip-hop its intellectual, its poetry, it actually f@cking says something. The masses are dumb, this kind of music is not economically viable. Keep it up One Be Lo, Those of us who get it, need it. And you're one of the best.

  • @supergrantbros mannn, @ this point that shit's irrevelent. Your a good person for listenin too One Be LO. And were smaret for that. Timberland even know's that. Fuck the media

  • @supergrantbros mannn, @ this point that shit's irrevelent. Your a good person for listenin too One Be LO. And were smarter for that. Timberland even know's that. Fuck the media

  • One word to describe what I just listened to. DAMN! Now this is the kind of Hip Hop I LOVE. This man just gained a new fan.

  • I would recomend S.T.I.L.L.B.O.R.N.

  • He figured that figures dont matter.

  • one of the best rappers out there guy should be selling millions....anyone know what kind of sales figures this guy gets?

  • 15,000 copies!

  • He sold I think only 7,000 copies of S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. in its debut year 2005. He makes more than most would off that figure because he started his own label, Subterraneous. When you factor in Decompoze's album released by Subterraneous and the sales from Masters of the Universe as well as his recent album, he probably makes like 50G a year. He is amazing though, he and S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. are both in my top 5.

  • everyone who listens to him love him, sad how more people don't know about him

  • yeah, I got all his albums digitally, i got to cop hard copies of them especially S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. and Masters of the Universe, one of the realest dudes since Talib Kweli

  • dude i own about 220 cds and my favorite of all time is masters of the universe by far. ive never heard a cd thats 100% pure hip hop like they are. BUY IT... and blast slang blade as loud as possible to start out with

  • for real? I own around 150, Masters is in my top 15, but this is in my top 5, the top 3 are reserved for Black Star, Black on Both Sides, and Train of Thought. I'll have to track down a hardcopy of Masters though.

  • never heard of black on both sides or train of thought. whats good?

  • Black on Both Sides is Mos Def's solo debut, its amazing and Train of Thought was the name of the Reflection Eternal album. One Be Lo reminds me of both artists. If you haven't heard them I recommend you check both out, look up Mathematics, Speed Law, and Hip Hop for Mos and Good Mourning and the Blast for Talib.

  • i know all about the mathematics but nothing else i'll be checking into them. thanks man

  • @ZigZaggn Senim rips it

  • who is one be lo's producer?

  • lmao

  • Mad respect to this guy: He came from Binary Star and it is real hard to follow up that act but he does it with style. He is a good rapper, has good subject matter and good production.
