I just heard about this recently. It looks like such a sweet manga/anime. I keep wondering why they never made an anime for Osamu Tezuka's Apollo's Song (1970).

@ghostsherlock I don't think you can ever find it subbed. As far as I know, it is definatly not availible in English. Not the anime, not the manga, nada. It is a magic adventure story, but it also served as a sort of introduction to Sex Ed, and some scenes were sorta questionable. In fact even some mothers in Japan hated that show, because they were, you know, uncomfortable answering certain questions. Still, I'd like to at least read the manga.

I've seen the entire series in Japanese, and yeah, it was very surreal at times. I think it was one of Tezuka's most unusual and sophisticated pieces from the classic era.
