And it's called Stepmania because it was originally a DDR sim, but people began just playing it with their hands on a keyboard because then didn't have a pad... then they realized "Hey, this is pretty fun! But I'm AAAing all of these DDR songs now..." and it just expanded from there. Now there are more keyboard simfiles than pad. :P
