The whole fairy empire business is extremely intelligent on so many levels. As an audience member, it's engaging, dark, interesting, and epic. From a business point of view, it gives this group (especially "Empress" Yui) a lot of character and personality; making them extremely memorable.

Gotta love Yui Itsuki! She's so pretty. I love her voice,too. It cracks,but it makes her that much more epic. She also sings as Karen from the band Denkishiki Ongaku Karen Syuudan. They have the same music style,only Denkare doesn't have too much of a gothic style. They both are heavy metal though,and in fact,sound alike.

The Guitarist is Takaha Tachibana one of the original members of Yousei Teikoku {The band playing if you did not know} and I do not know of him being in any other groups.
