I live in Anderson...when this was happening I was down in Bentonville and one formed right outside the Nissan dealership. But this one was bad. Me and my husband drove through a back road after it had gone through and it was scary and sad.
I live in Joplin,and i pass right by Iris road where most of the damage was done.I still cannot believe the damage done to the trees and surrounding area! I am terrified of tornados!!!
awsome video ,i was in the middle of the storm as it crossed into missouri iam storm spotter with skywarn and a FF ,jjst hope it never happens again . stay safe out there
it wasnt "starting to form." it was on the ground for 60+ miles. you can see the edge of the tornado on the right of the rainshaft, but most of that huge mass is rain. this was a very rain-wrapped tornado. good video though.
