To help with your accent troubles, it would be wise to practice vowels.

@LoveBill75 C'est les syntaxes anglaise. Comme dire par exemple "je parle français très bien" au lieu de "je parle très bien français". Tu vois le genre, c'est comme dire "i am not enough good to find an exemple" au lieu de "i am not -good enough- to find an exemple". C'est pas bien grave, mais ça peut énerver les puristes ^^
@LoveBill75 I know. My family rarely speaks french to me. I had to learn it on my own, and became fluent two years ago, but now that I am focusing so hard on Chinese and Russian, I am forgetting very much french. I never hear it anymore ;,( I will have to relearn it again.

Damn, I never get what Italians say when they try to speak English. I experienced this in October when I got to Turin, Italy and you gotta stay as much focused as you can on the conversation to catch the word they say lol. Thats not bad. The French accent is lyrical and singing, well, outside of Paris it is! I can speak with a very accurate SW French accent in fluent English - jaws drop over there when I do it. Like a Frenchman talking cockney.
I think you are pretty much spot on with most of your accents. But to be honest at the risk of sounding like an Internet stalker wack-job you are just too good looking not be be utterly distracted by your face over your performance.
Pretty good, although your "otherwise" sounds a bit more german than french. Also, you might want to work on your stress. French usually ends phrases with a possitive stress (which sounds similar to Americans asking questions). Also, towards the end it seems like you slacked off a bit.

The accent in the video is one that I would associate more with France rather than an other French-speaking nation. The "R" in France is produced more in the throat. In French Canada the "R" is rolled, kind of like the Spanish "R" but not as extreme. That sound is produced at the front of the mouth with the tongue against the front teeth. Also, "TH" is difficult for Francophones. Say the word "Taught" while gently pressing your tongue against your front teeth.

your 'r's are pretty good though.
your vowels are a bit off...
also, the '-in', '-on', '-an', and other nasally french whatsits all sound different. try to do some excercises for that online.

I think in general it is really important to slow down... Once you slow down, it's a lot easier to get any kind of accent.

Damn, I never get what Italians say when they try to speak English. I experienced this in October when I got to Turin, Italy and you gotta stay as much focused as you can on the conversation to catch the word they say lol. Btw I'm French and she hasn't got a French accent at all, it's really an Italian one !

Thats not bad. The French accent is lyrical and singing, well, outside of Paris it is! I can speak with a very accurate SW French accent in fluent English - jaws drop over there when I do it. Like a Frenchman talking cockney.

Pretty good, although your "otherwise" sounds a bit more german than french. Also, you might want to work on your stress. French usually ends phrases with a possitive stress (which sounds similar to Americans asking questions). Also, towards the end it seems like you slacked off a bit.

The accent in the video is one that I would associate more with France rather than an other French-speaking nation. The "R" in France is produced more in the throat. In French Canada the "R" is rolled, kind of like the Spanish "R" but not as extreme. That sound is produced at the front of the mouth with the tongue against the front teeth. Also, "TH" is difficult for Francophones. Say the word "Taught" while gently pressing your tongue against your front teeth.
