@parvannamaria I did mean Father and Daughter, correct. My daughter and I are both singers and our voices blend really well too but I don't think we'll be singing love duets anytime soon. I really love this song though. I downloaded it on my itunes. But it's obviously romantic love and not filial love that this song is about. Just a strange (but highly successful) choice on ole Frank's part.

Am I the only one who thinks it's creepy that it's mother and daugher. I guess I love you can be taken that way except that later in the song he talks about her perfume. That said I think it's a beautiful song.

@169esmeralda I guess you mean "father and daughter". Well, you know, being a professional actor or singer makes you say, sing and play things that are not always really real. It's obvious but as I see, not to everyone :)

An irony of this song is amid all the rock n roll and turmoil of 1967...this was a number one song on the hot 100 for a month...a time when this and Cream were on the same radio station...
