I'm not saying these kids are lying, but 'some' kids 'do' lie. I think the warning is right. The aliens, if that really happened, are trying to say that 'we' have to control our destiny and clean up our act, which is what I always thought myself anyway. Maybe they can't help us. Maybe they can't appeal to the higher ups, so are trying to go through children. Why should the aliens clean up our world? We've ruined it and still are. We have to be the ones to fix it.

@ladybluluv Similar theory of mine. Had aliens become so advanced, they probably would have commited the same mistakes in their own planet until they figured out the 'right' way. They would have seen the pitfalls of technological advancement and wanted to warn us to have foresight based on their own hindsight. All scientific progress has always produced profound unethical results, its probably a universal trend for all intelligent forms of life.
