I really hate how this happens with great musical pieces like "Stairway To Heaven"
They become SO popular that even all the ignorant bandwagons who have never heard another Zepplin song say "I love Led Zepplin" Because of one song. It's a terrible cliche!
I can think of many examples like this and It's really a shame.
@Maclolp hahaha yea bro I can agree with you there! I have a couple mates like that actually. Led Zep has a back catalogue that just owns but sadly "stairway to heaven" will always 'that' song! I think if anything it's inspirational for me because of my guitar playing ties to it..
And being a drummer I really understand the inspiration part!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Beatles, but I appreciate the incredible creative musical genius behind Richard Starkey's drumming! He's like the nonconformist of drummers. Yet, everyone know "Here Comes The Sun" So again it's a complete Cliche, nobody actually knows anything about the Beatles. And it makes me sick!
You have great taste in music. :-) I learned this when I was 13 and thought I was the the cat's ass. Lol. I can't believe your Mark Knopfler video actually got more views than this. I guess people's musical tastes have shifted somewhat (?). BTW, I can also appreciate your love for using the F-word!

Oh and yea apologies for my rotten mouth, I don't have a very good filter when it comes to verbilizing what's in my head haha especially if I'm passionate about something. My mouth just kinda goes for it..
