this song is about my home town ballymun in dublin makes it all the more meaningful to me as i lost a lot of friends to the drugs as we all grew up in the seven towers that bono makes reference too .

I hate U2 because it makes every other band sound like shit. U2 is so far ahead of every other band that they ruin it for me. Now I only listen to U2, for over 20 years. I like other bands too, but U2's music is so haunting and beautiful...i never get tired of them, but they did ruin my CD collection.
