omg hayden is GORGEOUS. something i found really striking about how he portrayed ani was that.. not only was he extremely funny, charming, cheeky, romantic, deep and lighthearted .... he was also dark and frightening. i mean there were really points where ive felt scared of ani, where to start.. killing the sand people, losing his temper, killing jedi, ETC, he is an amazing character, hayden made him. <3

i think his performance in the 2 star wars movies are hit and miss. his love scenes are awkward. he's best when turning to the darkside. the scene with padme after slaughtering the sand people in ep 2 is the standout of the prequels. i would have preferred if he was in ep 1 instead of the line fed little kid. his character would have become more defined over 3 films as was mark hamills in the original trilogy.

The only actor that was able to still perform well through the subpar dialogue was Ewan Mcgregor... Hayden was AMAZING in star wars..honestly i was never a fan of star wars and only watched the clone war with my brother last week and i was totally hooked with how amazing Hayden was..he totally made the character for me and sorry but to compare him to Rob Pattinson is the stupidest thing ever. the character of anakin is million times more difficult to play than some sulky vampire. the actor for anakin has to be able to show that inner conflict and depth all throughout and Hayden totally did it
