alright what do you ride, ski doo... ??? cant even hardly make it out off the store doors they break so much, why to expensive and suck at deep snow, apex might lose in a dash but will pass them in a half mile, nytro will easily beat it in a 100 foot race but nytros suck with top end
Compare a Ski-Doo 600 and a Yamaha Nytro. The 600 has a wider powerband.
And when it comes to peak power the 2T easily destroys the 4Ts. 130hp for yamaha's best 1050cc and 150hp for Ski-Do's 800cc in a sled that is 82lbs less.
82lbs is a lot, besides it was 103lbs for the 600 and 91 for the 800. Removing it takes stress off the suspension (smoother ride), it improves fuel economy, goes faster, handles better etc. Combine less weight, better fuel economy, less emmissions, cheaper to buy and maintain, easier to maintain, etc. Why would you buy a 4T?
The main reason for a sled is fun aka speed. Just like a dirtbike, ATV, and PWC.
What? Where did you come up with that crap? The only thing the government can do is put a restriction on emissions. And DI 2-strokes have lower emissions than 4-strokes. Ther is no ban on 2-strokes. 2-strokes are better. I proved that. End of story.
An oil injected 2-stroke uses the same amount of oil as a 4-stroke. It is injected into the precise place in a minute precise amount, just enough to never have a problem. It turns out that is as little as a 4-stroke. The other benefit is the 4-stroke recycles its oil over and over while a 2-stroke gets fresh oil all the time, and that prevents wear.
you mockin me.

2-Strokes are 100lbs less for the same hp. (415lbs for a Ski-Doo 600, 427lbs for a 800 and 518lbs for a Yamaha)
2Ts may need a $300 rebuild IF they aren't taken care of (in carb form) but in a few years a 4T will need a $2,000 one.
You don't need valve inspections for 2Ts
Oil injected 2Ts use as little oil as a 4T, and no oil filter.
Direct Injected 2Ts also get better fuel mileage 21 for a 600 and 20 for a Yammy.

So why would you buy a 4-Stroke?

in 2012 every snowmobile manufacturer has to only make 4 strokes or they can't release them

it's not even about that, the gov. can't afford the oil. 4 stroke you only need to change in the fall and it lasts all year

Did you not read what I wrote before?
