  • I will never use a robot guitar and neither will the old school players or any respectable guitarist. like 7bloodi said first robot guitars then the death of soul in music

  • @Kaleb673 Well, it's not really a robot is it? It's just a convenience feature regarding staying in tune. I don't see a reason not to use one, if it works. Nor do I see any connection to that feature and playing with any more or less "soul". How would staying in tune change how you play...at all?

  • Out of the box in tune for a 2500 guitar outrageous!

  • Watching these makes me think of all the new guitar days I've had. It's always exiting to get a few more. :)

  • @iloverush123 Whoops, exciting.

  • how many does it cost

  • its like the 3 stooges

  • hahah i would laugth if there be just bricks in the case insted of the guitar!

  • Why, of all the possible bursts, did they choose shit blue, and ass white?

  • :O) ... (O:

Honest to god your sentiment was EXACTLY what I thought at the end of that video & I was going to write something to that effect.

When I saw your comment I literally laughed out loud- :O)

Who would actually post a video like this ... I guess these two idiot would, & did.

  • lol! thanks! LOL!

  • my 200 dollar agile al2000 came "right outta the box, in tune"

    IN DECEMBER!

  • @limegreentj So did my $100 OLP bass.

  • dude i never got that shrink wrap with my gibson -_-... I would've felt a lot safer if it was, especially since they had to fly it to Hawaii... My fret board also had very unnoticeable scratches and same with my pickguard...Very sexy guitar...i wish i had that color

  • why blue out of all the colors they chose blue outburst and white :'(

  • it's blue and silver

  • pure jealously!!!!!!!

  • ah, dude. new gibsons and especially robots are worthless. i found that out when i bought my 2006 les paul standard.

  • they won't be in like 10 or 20 years

  • i have the les paul studio vintage mahogany. it has a wide 50s neck and it stays in tune incredibly well. the tuning machines are incredibly accurate and easy to tune. the robot is beautiful but incredibly unnecessary

  • i would die a happy death if i even played 1 second on this guitar

  • they play so nice the best buy were i go to has a music store in it and the have actually gibson robots on demo and the play like a dream

  • bluuuueee, i hate blue on guitars

  • blue is alright for me...i guess it just depends on what shade of blue...............................but that blue sucks cause it's like a burst finish.

    midnight manhattan looks better

  • ur just jealous of him

  • you're right!

  • this is just my opinion, but i think that the blue burst is kinda ugly, and the control knot just looks out of place

  • laaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • Terrance and Phillip

  • what happened to using the good old human ear?? Man...first thing is robot guitars next thing is computer made albums and the death of soul in music

  • There already is computer made albums, ever hear of Pro-Tools? Robert "Mutt" Lange produced the entire latest Nickleback album via Email with Pro-Tools and Areosmith don't even record their records in the same states anymore, they all email the tracks back and forth, the end is near!!

  • shut up

  • shut up?!? you came up with shut up? ouch!! hahahahaha, loser!

  • @7bloodi This guitar is for people who do gigs and need to retune their guitars for different songs. But I kind of agree.

  • HO...LY... SHIIITTT!!!! i want that soo bad!

  • i want the case it looks funky

  • omfg if i got this guitar i would drop my pants and shoot a load on it on the spot

  • lol "I'm played an E chord, and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS" .....

  • I would love to get a hold of a "Les Paul" robot gitar (Not a studio) I bet that would cost me an arm and a leg.

  • I hate that finish , but the guitar's well!

  • yh same lol!

  • i saw a review of this and it looked so cool

  • Does it Transform?

  • into a ferarri

  • into a model =)

  • into a model on a ferrari

  • how much did u guys pay for it? online gibson website its $4000. guitar center its $1700.

  • i know i have a robot sg and on the website its 3500 and at guitar center i bought it for 1500$

  • I'd do almost anything to own a gibson. Now, imagine what i could do o get a gibson robot guitar!I'd probably torture and kill your family, rape a scorpion and make out with a snake just to get it!! And its sky blue!! awesome your lucky

  • Does anyone know if its only being sold for a limited time? If not, how many are there in burlington Ont., and how long will they be sold for. Information is much appreciated.

  • THATS A MOTHERFUCKING BEAUTY!!!!

  • i qould take a gutiar that tunes itself anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • did you buy it online if you did what website?

  • its pretty cool but i would never want one

  • my lp standard was in tune out of the box.

    nice guitar btw

  • oh jesus people, stop whining about "it takes all the fun away." this guitar would be a very nice addition to a guitar collecters inventory or a fun, unique experience to a guitarist who has years of experience,

  • Honestly this takes away the fun of getting to know your guitar. I am not saying it isn't cool but part of playing the guitar is learning all of its sounds and how to get all of those sounds.

  • your comment doesnt make much sense. the robot guitar doesnt play or sound different then a normal les paul.. it just tunes itself

  • i see what your saying. i think it would be more for stage play. that way you dont have to switch guitars when your doing a song that is in a different tuning, just pull the knob, turn it and strum....... ta da, in tune. push the knob back down, your ready to go.

  • the guitar tunes its self

  • You are so lucky

  • no duh its in tune right out of the box... its a guitar that is made for its tunning capabilities....

  • wow its in tune when u get it.

thats definetly the best part about getting the guitar

  • how much is a robot guitar like the cheapest and the most expencive

  • :O someone's a lucky fuckling

  • i want to play guitar and i probably will but if i was able to become famous i would want my signature guitar to be a les paul gibson with a maple neck and oak body that has a few pick ups of my choice

  • great, we all care

  • Wait, you do not play guitar but you are choosing your wood already? Your "Oak" Les Paul would sound like shit you idiot, that is why they are not made of oak!

  • no i play real guitar now i decided not to get les pauls because im a shredder and i pretty much use esp guitars but if i were to get a gibson it would be a explorer

  • Oak isn't very resonant, it would be an awful Les Paul, and unnecessarily heavy.

  • got one on my wish list,

  • i would be crying when i opened it

  • its so inocent when u opned it like a new born..............wait nvm new borns scream..

  • DERPDEEDERP.

Besides those guitars aren't special you just pay way more for old technology and Gibson name.

  • somebody's a little jealous huh

  • Dude, I'm not jealous, I have played one of those guitars, the technology is not worth an extra $2-3000. I'm not much of an LP fan anyways.

  • lol hahahaha. "engages tuning"...then reads.. "TO AVOID DAMAGE DO NOT ENGAGE TUNING UNTIL BINDINGS ARE RELEASED"...oh shit

  • ha, the dumbasses damaged the robotic tuners by not taking the bindings off before activating the tuning XD

  • dude i can fell the excitment when you open it.

  • i want it. a lot.

  • robots are overrated end of story

  • it was 2,500 new.... bu now can be sold for a lot more

  • how much was that guitar?

  • i love when i buy a gibson how the box has the case inside and when you open it how it feels to play i have 2 sg's

  • yea, but will it tune all 9 of my other guitars and make me coffee?? :p

  • lol

  • LOL sounds like me hit buttons before i should lolol ,,any way they should`ve put this on a custom for that money,, gibby going down hill any more :O)

  • Usingmyballssucks, it does alot more than just tuning itself. Look at the official robot guitar videos and you'll see.

  • i don't get it ok it tunes itself helps you change a string a gives itself intonation. that is maybe the gayest thing ever imagine a guitar legend in 15 years that doesn't know how to tune or change a string or check the intonation

  • It doesnt make it gay. i personally dont want one, but if i ever got super rich, i would get one just to have it. if you get it, it wouldnt be your main guitar. i agree with you the you should just tune is your self, man. this is just cool and advanced and fun. and wicked expensiva haha

  • ya i know i guess it would be cool to own than sell it 50 years later

  • i don't get the point of this guitar like 20 000 dollars and all it does is tune itself
