  • This is a great movie and all ,but as many times as I seen this I don't understand the ending. It's Clint Eastwood, if he has to go he should go out with a bang. It's an excellent movie 5/5.

  • I like this song better when Clint sings it. It is beautiful, but just hearing that broken, sincere voice moves me beyond words.

  • For anyone wondering who the artist is - it's Jamie Cullum, the song's called Gran Torino (big surprise), and you can find it on his album called The Pursuit

  • New favorite song

  • its rare but when i first saw the movie this song made me cry

  • @caramandunga100 me too : / ... it's so touching.

  • @Mr1iseal that movie was so sad I just saw it but it was a great movie I cried and I'm a guy

  • GREATT SONG WITH GREAT ENDING :-] ;-]

  • I just got this on Blu-Ray (and cried yet again). This may be the last great movie you will see in a long, long time. For those searching on Google Earth, the coords are: Lat- 42°24'41.16"N, Lon- 82°53'6.31"W. There's even a white mark in the aerial picture where the camera was positioned, (front of 423 Lake Shore). It looks like a dolly, and/or a crane-shot. Watch to the end of the credits and you will see the Gran Torino go by again, (something I missed twice in the theatre). Get it on BD, $8!

  • this song is about my dad.. who's a fucking asshole.. but is so loved by everyone, even when he spits tobacco.. disgusting...

  • i have goosebumps every time i heard this song

  • The first time I heard this song I got goosebumps

  • the road is near detroit, right next to lake st.clair. The road is called lakeshore drive.

Go onto google maps or Earth and go near the great lakes to find it.

  • i want to hear Clint's verse not Jamie Cullum's verse

  • a great song...and sad....beautiful

  • i love this movie!its my favorite movie and will always be :)

  • Who in the right mind could dislike this video? Great film, and ending music. Mr. Eastwood really outdid himself on this film.

  • this song reminds me of driving with the top of the car down in summer with a quiet afternoon and there is a slight breeze.

  • Outstanding Movie.......the ending Shocked me and my 17-year-old son when we saw it.....So Un-Eastwood Like to have it end that way........But like my Wife said....."He knew that that was the way to put the bullies away for good"....

  • i saw the film from the ending sea-road scenes for several times ...

  • i saw the film from the ending sea-road scenes...really !!

  • That gang better be in hell right now

  • I went threw hell to get this movie

  • Brings back good memorys

  • three of the people who killed Mr. Kawalsky disliked this video

  • I'd Of rather seen Him Kill All of them, then Threaten the Neighborhood if they ever talked to anyone about it! aka Unforgiven in Town When He shot the Bar Up! Too bad about Gene Hackman & His Crooked Little Leaky House! But like He said if He's going to Decorate the Front of His Bar with My Dead Friend (Morgan Freeman Jr.) He should of Armed Himself. I also liked the Rant about I'll Kill all of You, Your Families, Your Animals, Everything & Everybody. P.S. & don't go Cutting Up anymore Whores!

  • I love this drama movie and this song just makes me cry and in tears just love this movie

  • amazing movie... I couldn't help myself crying.. and Clint Eastwood he is one of most talanted people..

  • @ntopka the part where he was shot, i got close

  • @666hellraiser1 ok :)

  • Watch the ending scene followed by this song, you will get either watery eyes or goosebumps Guranteed. Terrifect movie.

  • i cried at this part the second time i watched this movie. i love the view of the lake though

  • such an interesting film, A man who is apparently lost, finds a place in his neighbor...Such a good movie ending always makes me sad =/

  • perfect......Who would think Clint would be in a movie where he didn't go to town at the end and kill everyone....this is a masterpiece

  • This is the only film that I have ever got close to crying at, only a man can understand the sadnass at then end, women could never understand it, and I geuinely think this is the best, but sadest, MAN'S film ever

  • I saw this last year in my hometown where i belong to movieclub. It showed this movie, and i went to watch this. I've enjoyed Clint's movies before, and this was again one masterpiece. When i saw end credits, i just thought, what an amazing movie. Then, i stayed to listen this song, and one of the rare times i was about to start crying. Perfect movie, with bittersweet emotion with the fact that Eastwood's acting career is now over. There is no better movie to end your long, magnificent career.

  • @5uomalainen

    Bittersweet.

  • @5uomalainen I agree. This movie was fantastic. I have watched this movie at least a dozen times..... along with the credits ... to the point of noticing that the Gran Torino drives by twice during the credits. Interesting.

  • @5uomalainen i am 39, a bachelor and kicking ass like all of us at this age ... but i cried when i saw the movie and particularly when the titles came up with this song ... you summed it all up for me my friend ... clint has always been the tough guy but somewhere in there, he comes through as a part of every one of us ... one of my most memorable movies, and this song makes it complete ...

  • @5uomalainen Bitter-Sweet. Bitter in the Pain, Sweet in the Salvation?! ;)

  • words just cannot describe this awsome movie......

  • @noobscap one of best of clint behind the westerns but

  • That's Lake Shore Drive (a.k.a. Jefferson once you drive south towards Detroit or North towards Port Huron; it's only called Lake Shore close to Lake St. Clair, hence "Lake Shore.") The building in the background is the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club where aristocrats pretend to be better than everyone else. The city is Grosse Pointe but there are 5 "Grosse Pointes." The Shores, Woods, Park, City, and the Farms. This is Grosse Pointe Farms. I saw the camera crew while this was being shot.

  • @LiLHeLLioNFeVeR do you know how much of an ass you sound like right now? I occasionally eat breakfast at that yacht club and I am no aristocrat pretending to be better than other people. my family is middle class. we don't have a yacht or boat or anything and my grandfather is a member there so on holidays we can go somewhere nice. you can go fuck yourself with your generalizations of big groups of people.

  • those looking for this song just use dirpy and make this vid an mp3

  • Gran Torino ....By Jamie Cullum Brilliant artist.

  • jamie cullum and clint eastwood are the artists, but i dont know whether there is a title for this song...its gran torino song i think...;)

  • Does anybody know the name and artist of this song?!

  • @ThatOneTallKidd I just found out it's on Lake Shore road. Thanks for the tip again.

  • @ThatOneTallKidd Thank you so much. I'll have to go to Grosse Pointe and check it out for myself. How I would like that!

  • Where exactly is the ending scene filmed at? I always thought it was filmed at Belle Isle.

  • Who sings this version when Tao drives off?

  • @tthomaselli2 its the first part of this song with clint eastwood. i dont know why he cut that out, eastwood rocks it.

  • @rohd9249

I saw in the credits it lists a guy named Don Runner for this song.; Who's that?

  • @tthomaselli2 Eastwood's mothers maiden name was Runner - imdb it. It is definitely him singing under the alias of Don Runner.

  • @rohd9249

    For real?...

  • @tthomaselli2 Thats what some other dude on the internet said, so take it as you will.

  • @rohd9249

Cool.; I was kinda confused about the whole Don Runner/Clint Eastwood thing when I saw it in the credits.

Where's the version of the theme where it's just Clint Eastwood singing?

  • @tthomaselli2 youtube wont let me type in the url for some reason. just click the "Grand Torino OST - Original Theme Song (Full)" video thats off to the right.---> its the 4th one down for me.

  • @tthomaselli2 im pretty sure its the actor who played tao

  • The song is called Gran Torino and Jamie Cullum sing it here. There is also a version where Clint sing it himself

  • I love this song i try to find the lyrics...do you know the name of the song plizz :) thanks

  • @palomitademaiz20 u can find it at kyle easte wood grand torino try looking 4 tht

  • I was surprised to see an in-credit WB logo in Gran Torino. I thought WB stopped using in-credit logos after 2002.
