  • This is now officially my favorite cooking show anywhere, anyhow. As for good or bad fat, wads of margarine is bad fat. A bit of chicken fat from a nice free-range hen is good fat. I'm going to eat it anyway.

  • Nothing wrong with a host making cooking fun.

    As for the skin, it adds flavor to the chicken as well as helps prevent the meat from drying out. Don't let whack jobs scare you away from a great-tasting dish. Keep the skin on while baking.

  • When you cook the chicken with the skin on, the fat from the skin pulls into the meat and saturates it with the "bad" fat. Remove the skin BEFORE you cook it.. Then it's Much more healthier.

    Good show. The chef looks a bit like a whack job, but it's entertaining, and interesting and surgically done. I guess that's the idea right?
