  • One guy really capable, one of the instructors but can only fly during the week. works at week-ends. Alex the hot-rodder is quite capable. What flight experience do you have? and do you live local to Ch-le St or Seaham?

  • hi Andy, im in the pools, and expirience? im on my third tutor40 trainer iv flew at teesside model club but only met the lads on the feild(im not in the club) i live right on the beach and fly there, i had 9 great succesful flights when i first took my trainer out and not 1 since(crash every time) so thats 1 full year with crashing. i love seaham i fish the beach. anyway iv got a brand new tutor and as you can imagine i dearnt fly it lol. regards lee

  • You should join a club affiliated to the BMFA and be "tutored" by the club trainer using a buddy box. Two transmitters connected and when you get into trouble, the club trainer takes control in a flash. As you progress & gain experience including takeoffs & landings there will come a time when you know your aircrafts habits & find YOU are in charge, not the model. The instructor will be aware of your progress and know when you are ready to solo.
