  • Hello, ernestofisher!. Congratulations for the interpretation of this tune, friend, and for the spreading of an instrument that I love so much like it is the Bagpipe, in all its sisters tipologies. A great greeting from Galicia (Spain)!.

  • As a Scottish bagpiper, I'm trying to imagine holding such a large bag! Is there a particular reason why they are like that? Nice music. Thanks for sharing.

  • Yes, there is a reason: the bag is the skin of a sheep. You have touse the skin of a adult sheep, that's better than the skin of a lamb.

And .... it is not difficult to hold this bag.

    Try! :)

  • it does look very cumbersome and unwieldy.

it has an interesting sound, almost like the player is simply improvising rather then playing a written tune.

  • haha, i'm glad someone else said that. i had the same thoughts

  • Ah ja, I like the melody of Buvcansko oro - I like very much to dance it!

  • Yes, my gajda is from Prilep. A very good gajda, I like it.

  • do they gajda players at dolneni just teach you stuff if you ask them?

  • Yes, they do. You can learn a lot of melodies.
