That's a question I've been hearing since this opening debuted in 2003. I think that is either Kathy Foster (former Y&R director/Producer) posing for the opening, or it's a model that worked for the main title company of this opening titled "Autonomy".

Y&R actually takes out who left, but they "fill-in the blank" with someone already in the opening instead of adding the new people.

I haven't seen the show freshly update their opening on a regular basis since September 1999 when they updated the 1988-99 opening for the last time, after they changed that opening, the opening has been touched every blue moon.

Me too, I just posted it just to add to all the openings, I posted the art drawings, the poses, curtain, so I added this one too, but I'm not crazy about this one.

The opening should be coloured. Other soaps as "Guiding Light", "As the world turns" and "All my children" have more variations in their intros. I hate an opening with characters who have already left the show a long time ago. They make a change at some point and then, they neglect it again for about 4 years. If it is too much for them to update the openings, then they should do an neutral opening without characters or use a method to replace easyly characters who have left YR by new ones.

I am not Bluebirdsims! I don't like 16/9 screens, the sreen area is smaller and disformed. Why have a big TV when almost a third of the screen is coloured by black death area?
