The character in yellow circular means give way. In China, all the students will wear little yellow caps because the yellow coulor is easy to be noticed. In recent years, this kind of yellow circular been applied too. Drivers will give way to students after seen it.
I feel sorry for these people.. I was in China during the earthquake.... oh Mia Le, I have a question... are you pregnant? If so, congrats... if not, you need to go on a diet..
The safety of schools must be a sensitive issue if the guy refused to comment on the schools in Sichuan. Of course he's going to say the building his own kids are in is good though.
Great channel that communicates the "true feel" of Beijing and gives us Americans a small window into the lives and feelings of China. Good job guys. You did not go over the top and kept a true reporting feel to the interviews with a simple man-on-the-street approach.
I am so surprize how much the chinese people want to help each other. Their kindness and unselfishness is really changing how the world see them. I hope Sophie can do more videos about the earthquake victims who turned rescurers themselves. There are so many good stories there to be told. Especially those of poor common people who have the nothing, but their strength to survive and conquer their problem and situation is priceless.
I AGREE WITH YOU 100% !!!!! I too was really shocked and moved when I realized the amount of effort that Chinese people all around the world are willing to put into this rescue!
beijing is safer than sichuan because sichuan is close to the himalayas, a lot of plate movements and historically has had earthquakes. beijing is pretty solid underground i think.
Cuz that answer might be a sort of offence to the people who livin between Sichuan and Beijing by only one person which means himself's thoughts or idea

thielenm - Well if you watched it, he mentioned he has children too in the city! Naturally, considering all the emotions running high, he's going to say he feels his city is safer! If you noticed he looked very deep in thought and snapped out of it when he realized it might come out wrong and offensive. Again, most people in times like this don't think it could happen to themselves, it's a coping habit.

我怎发现好多中国一张嘴那么多语法问题啊??? 比如像这句很多小孩儿很小就残废了,就亡了。。。。。。 这亡能直接这么用吗???
koinbouffier 2 years ago
