That last frog is not a gastric-brooding frog (of the Rheobatrachus genus), but rather is a Darwin's Frog (Rhinoderma darwinii). True gastric brooding frogs who swallowed their young (that developed in their stomachs before climbing out of mom's mouth) were native to Australia, though all species are extinct, as far as we know. The Darwin's Frog is from Chile, and takes similar care of their offspring, though it is the male who does mostly. Babies stay in his vocal sac before emerging as adults.
anyone know about what time do frogs give birth to their eggs and turn into tadpoles? i usually get a few each year but cant remember waht time i get em

The Pipa Toad Gets eggs on the holes in it's back. When the Tadpoles hatch they go INSIDE the mother..And when they are froglets they go out :P

This is made extra creepy by how fast it is. No building on anything, it's just perfectly normal to swallow the eggs then spit out your child.
