  • Get over it! No special treatment!!! All equal.

  • i agree!!, but your saying that even after 200 years, aboriginals still have the right to swear, spit and drink in public and from the city im from nearly 99% of these acts are by arboriginals that just want thier dole check. Not to mention this is mostly in the day time as well and yet they still expect to be pardoned due to thier race, the times have changed, Aussies have noted harsh times on indigenous culture, but, now is the time to get over it and live a decent life as equals.....

  • Seriously aborignals, their race is lucky to be alive, if some other nation invaded they would have most likey to be all killed or sent back as slaves, be grateful.. everyone should now be treated as equal.. why all this extra endorsements for aborignals everyone now dont care about being racial, its most aborignals that are racist towards white people not the other way around!! just go out pay attention in school get a job, instead of whining.. its not hard...

  • @PureAgainBOF3 you obviously don't know the ins and outs... and the history of the indigenous people... how would you feel if your land was stolen, your half caste children were taken away, and you had no rights at all?

  • well DUH we can hear it can you?

  • i dont understand why these protestors are actually white.where are you aboriginal people?i think you guys need to be more organized

  • lol i me and my mates almost run 1 off em down cus the dick runs in front of us

  • What's involved in aboriginal land rights?

I'm asking because I don't believe individuals should possess more rights than others just because of a count on length of time your nomadic ancestors lived in a place. I apply thing equally. I don't believe native English should possess more rights than migrants from hong kong for example.

I don't believe rights should be influence by: skin tone, facial structure, length of time genetic ancestors lived in place 'x', or religion etc. 1 law for all.

  • @PR0GRAMMING

Native rights, is a business that funds many lawyers and activists, and that's all.

Aboriginals would be better off without the false hopes.

  • People do need to know this - people need to know that Aboriginals have the highest rate of child abuse compared to all other races in Australia combined.

As for "psychological ramifications of taking children away from their parents" - you might want to Google "aboriginal woman throws baby" and then say the army going to their communities to prevent this is a violation of their human rights.

  • putting the army into the outback just makes people scared and some will be defient. definately not the right way to put children in good working conditions.

  • You don't send the army to your own country unless police are inadequate to ensure the safety of the people in the community.

Put children in good working conditions? LOL

Its more of a cleanup to prevent crimes and neglect that is getting out of control.

I cant fathom why people wouldn't question why armed forces are needed - obviously it is at a point where these people are considered more dangerous to themselves and others than the Taliban

  • There seems to be quite a lot you don't fathom, ichigo

  • Thanks for putting this up on YT.

  • The problem with land rights affects us all. While some authority believes that they own the earth and can do whatever they want , none of us has any rights to live on the land freely. We will be TAXED for it till we die. Thats what Rudd wants.

  • well said.

  • cool i was at this protest, thanks for the footage!

  • This is so real... people need to know about this.

  • That's a great step. I hope this process will be peacefull. It is not a fight of whites against natives...or aboriginal it's just bringing and dignity and giving rights to people of those lands, in a peacefull way. That way, Australia will gain strengh.

  • In Canada, the gov't went into native communites and took the children to be adopted by white people. They deemed that the living conditions weren't adequate. They never considered the psychological ramifications of the children or the parents.

These operations were called "The Raids"

The last ones were in the 1970's.

Shame that simular situations still go on.
