yeah looks a heck of a lot like venus to me too , right position , right colour . doesnt apear to be moving at all . fluctuations in the atmosphere and the movement of the human eye can make Venus appear very creepy.
The shape when you zoom in is caused by the objective's diaphragm or some mask that you have on front of the objective, the "nipple" is how a defocused point of light looks thru a refractive lens like the ones in your objective, try to do that on a distant light and slightly defocus, you will see the same efect.
Look at it closely, the Iris and glow are very similar to the many UFO's seen in the February 25th 1996 Tether Incident film from NASA's STS-75 UFO incident in which hundreds of similar UFO's were seen with an average size of 2 miles in diameter. Just look up utube videos for NASA Tether Incident. Also Many other NASA STS mission videos through the 1990's have the same shape, size and looking UFO's in them also.

I saw this too... I was on the beach at Surfers Paradise, at some ungodly hour, and this exact same thing was hovering in the sky... It was about the size of a big full moon, and it slowly moved from the horizon to almost directly above me before blinking out, leaving 'smoke rings' behind where those rings are... I know this footage is real, and thankyou for posting it. Been trying to describe it for years now and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

That is one of the best zoom-in close ups I have seen, being so far away. How did you keep the camera so still, tripod? Very cool. I think it let you film it specifically. Because it goes away and comes back 'directly from your camera'. Wouldn't you say?

My dad captured a similar ufo in Pakistan and these paticular ufos have been seen all over the world. it amazes me that the news agencies dont investigate footage as such. I dont care if its dangerous or docile, i just want to know what it is.
