he may not be an 8- but his voice is. he needs to dump the cheap coat. it detracts the effect more than it adds to the act. I agree i hear the elvis in his voice, but that is the sound of that time. thats why elvis and tom were so popular . dont forget elvis did this song a lot too. its a great song bout death rows reflection from the prisoners standpoint. I think if this guy could put a little more emotion of that in his voice and facial expression it would of been perfect.

this is a supurb reendition of this song

but he really sings more like elvis than tom jones. he has extremely diverse vocals and could easily be a professional singer. great if anyone is going to sing these kinds of song then this is the standard, i dont think many people should bother trying. this guy is great in his own rights, tremendous vocals.
