@Sigmaris01 did you complete all the quests? if you're missing 100 and not just a few (which is usually more frustrating) then I'm guessing a) you might not have gotten the skill points for jumping over the lily pads without touching the water, b) you've forgotten a quest or c) you didn't jump over to the plateau with all the courage points after getting the hammer back from Carl.

@biglewhill That's a good point to bring up but isn't Bilbo's much older than Hamfast? This story takes place when Bilbo is still quite young (for a hobbit) so it makes sense that Hamfast (or the Gaffer as he's called later) would be a child, right?

sorry, i've looked online and i don't think microsoft has made any updates so the hobbit could be played on xbox 360. i think it's just xbox and gamecube. :(

you might be able to find the computer game on ebay or amazon though.

As you move the directional stick forward, pull the left trigger and as you see bilbo ready his walking stick, press A. Do it in a smooth movement if you can, forward-left trigger- A.

I think you can actually lower the volume on the sound effects or music by going to the game menu (by pressing the start which I did in this part). Go to audio/misc settings and you can adjust the music volume, I think.

that's what happens when you hold down the right trigger but don't jump in time. just try it a couple of times.

You'll love it, it's absolutely fantastic! It's a cute little game, and as a huge fan of the book, I love how some of the dialogue is directly taken from the book. It's not just your typical fighting game, there's more to it, which is awesome. Even the music is good, especially in the Hobbiton chapter. I'm in Mirkwood at the moment, and I can't put my controller down. Good luck, and I hope you like it! :)

Thanks! I've seen some parts of the PC game and I think they look pretty similar. There might be some levels that are different but I've seen the game cube version and its almost exactly the same so I'm willing to bet the same with the PC game.

XBox version and PC version are exactly the same in level design but there are minor differences in movement. For example, while with XBox it is possible to jump from the upper floor of the watermill over the railing towards the nails, it is not possible to do so with the PC version. Great videos by the way :)

yep it took me a while to realize about the waters of vigor... but i also had help from some written walk-throughs online to get some of the other secret stuff.

I found out about the Waters of Vigor for the first time when I was almost done with the level and I thought "Hey, I'll go say bye to that little dude XD", but when I went back, he wasn't there so I was like O_o. Then I approached the well and realized I could twist it, and up came the Waters of Vigor. So afterwards, I was like "THAT GUY WAS KEEPING IT FROM ME!!!" XD.
