oh, and when Schuyler and that guy were talking I totally thought that that guy was gay xD haha I'm a little kish obsessed x] but really!! It seemed like it... haha
How unrealistic can you get? A dude drops god knows how much money on a Half Gram of coke and then turns it over to Schuyler? This is the most unrealistic thing in the show's 41 year history!
respectfully, I would disagree about it being the most unrealistic...improbable, but it has happened to people in recovery. some of these people who murder/maim/destroy and get to live on and on and on (and do more damage usually) seem to be the most unrealistic to me, this forgiveness factor.
Upon thinking it over, you're probably right. It's more unrealistic for Austin Buchanan to be thought dead, buried and then come back to menace everyone again. I made my original comment based on how much money a half gram of coke costs and thinking it would be stupid to just throw that money away, especially in today's economy. It would be more realistic for the dude to try and return it and get his money back.
the writer's might be trying to redeem themselves with the drug story line, maybe even building Schyler up to be a big hero. Most likely, users use and then are remorseful at session. (sorry for that ugly human realism). I agree with you that the "lazarus syndrome" gets the best of some soaps.
i really hope they dont kill soaps for stupid reality shows. i swear, i will not watch ANYTHING on abc if they replace soaps with back to back judge shows followed by back to back maury/springer shows. SOAPS are an essential part of american culture and i have personally learned A LOT from them. the powers the be need to realize that ratings are very hard to increase on soaps because they take a lot of time and committment. however, they will always have a standard amount of fans that will exist
Exactly---Soaps like this & AMC are hard to get rid of b/c they have been long running already. What you said about judge shows-Springer & Maury is very trueLOL! Thats pretty much the daytime programming line-up for the other stations
lol, yes and i absolutely hate the line up for other stations. idk about it being "hard" to get rid of them. i mean, guilding light is getting cut and its been the longest running ever since. idk. i just hope OLTL survives, and i also hope it remains in NY. idk but i find it comforting knowing its here in Ny and not somewhere 2000 miles away, lol

All I'll say about Stacy and her pal is this:
If I wanted to watch a sequel to Showgirls, I'd drag Joe Eszterhas out of his grave.
