  • HAHA! Listen to Backhaus on 78th. He makes Kissin and Hamelin sound like they are missing 2 fingers on either hand when he plays a virtuoso pieces and in classical repertory they are total morons next to the great B.

  • Wow! This gives substance to Backhaus' comments in The Art of Piano. He really does play it like two lovers dancing across the Greek landscape!
