I a thinking of selling mine. It is in super shape except usual to these, the vinyl roof has cracks in the top but not ripped. Love these cars. Had 3 in my lifetime. Mine is the same as yours but mine is the '85 model. Needs AC compressor and dryer bottle but I never did the 134 conversion. Just a fun super car.
@zoomeristen Hi, I don't know that it was the beginning of the end. K platform vehicles sold upwards of 300K units per year, and don't forget the game-changing minivan was a K platform vehicle. Those profits brought them back from the brink and financed the development of the LH platform, which also sold very well. It was after this that the so-called merger of equals happened, with Daimler raping Chrysler then selling it off to Cerberus. That was the beginning of the end in my estimation.
@bagelboi66 Hallo !!! I guess we are both right, but from a differnt point of view.In my case ,this K platform was a sign of what to come. The fact that the traditional big American car now was history.I'm a huge fan of the big ones of the 70's.K-cars etc does not represent what we US-car freaks in Sweden call an American car.
@zoomeristen Oh yes I see what you mean. I learned to drive in my father's 1975 Fleetwood so I know from big cars. Swedes, Germans, Dutch so many Europeans have this fascination for big old American cars. I have driven GM cars all my life though so I understand. For all their technical shortcomings, nobody, at least until about 20 years ago, made more comfortable or luxurious vehicles. I own a Pontiac G6 convertible, not as luxurious as a Cadillac, but still has that big American car feel.
for around $23000. It had an amazing ride, rear cabin like a private jet and an enormous wheel base. It lacked power for hills with an oversized Mitsubishi 4 cylinder, but in those days its custom look would attract more attention than any Rolls Royce. Beautiful car and great memories - thanks.
do you still have it today??? did yours only have the Mitsubishi 2.6l engine?? and yes they were very underpowered...did you have any problems with the motor at all??
why am i expecting a hair band to step out of it?

Strange they didnt put a modified Conquest turbo 2.6l in this car to get more power. It is very cool but it must have been extremely underpowered.

I bought a dark grey limo like this in 1984
for around $23000. It had an amazing ride, rear cabin like a private jet and an enormous wheel base. It lacked power for hills with an oversized Mitsubishi 4 cylinder, but in those days its custom look would attract more attention than any Rolls Royce. Beautiful car and great memories - thanks.

My Dad wrote this but they sold the car
before I was born. Too bad, because he said
it was a great alternative to monster limos,
