  • one of numans best love the ending.

  • My favorite album by far and I have it in CD and vinyl. Way ahead of everyone. I agree with some that this may be one of the best tracks on the album but they are ALL so good.

  • 1 prickhole didn't get enuff attention from his mommy growing up..............

  • The reactions needs an EPIC button.

  • Still sounds fresh.Amazing song,no wonder he influenced so many of todays artists.

  • Best Track on P P .when I was young and naive this tune always gave me that " anything is possible" feeling of elation. Now, many years , burnt bridges and departed boats later I am a jaundiced old fart , but I still love it !

  • Cannot believe this song has a dislike!!!!!! It should have been a single before or instead of Complex

  • This song is very futuristic. I mean all of Numan's work is. But really this song sounds like so much of the emotronic stuff that came out in the 90's/2000's. SOOO good

  • reminds me of "runnin down a dream" by Tom Petty!

  • He was a true ambassador of the analog "Polymoog" synteziser which was/is known for beeing notoriously inreliable. The "Vox humana" setting on the Polymoog is the best haunting sound i'll ever hear from a synthesizer.

  • This was used by Minneapolis WCCO Channel 4 as promo music back in the day.

  • Gary Numan kept my sanity while i was in the army in the early 80s. Lifeline to genius, link to a scared soul searching for meaning, shrugged off the religious scavengers, he gave me aural beauty equaled only by the finest Italian baroque.

Gary wrote songs and music from his own angst, but it touched me a continent away, as i am sure it did thousands of others.

  • awesome love this song

  • simple construcction...beautifull dellivery

  • love this, one of my fave tunes

  • @MsBillie74 Same here...always get goosebumps to Tracks!

  • fantastich

  • WHO NEEDS IT I DO, MUM AND DAD GOT ME THIS FOR CHRISTMAS IN 1979 STILL GOING STRONG NOW.

  • Nadie lo hace como los británicos en los 80´s. Qué viva el pop de los 80´s.

  • this is so nice,, reading all ur good comments about Gary, and reliving those moments...The '80's were a great time to grow up (on the town !) ..I'm 44 now and I was right 'then' and I'm ;right; now! ..Gary Numan was and is unique, brave , and an inspiration to all those that think outside the box! I'm proud to still be a numanoid..!! :)

  • @theawakener7 Lene Lovich!! AWESOME!!! Yes . . . so many awesome artists from our youthful days . . .

  • best song on the album

About the album sales, this album is far from one of the "greatest selling albums of all time", it has'nt even sold a million copies.

  • Anyone know sales figures for PP up to date considering its one of the biggest selling albums of all time?

  • @godparticles1 This album has sold about 400,000 units in the U.S..Since it's 1979 release.

  • @211bill Hey thanks man but not enough hey?

Should be in millions of homes

  • Most people consider this album his best, but with me his best work evolved after this one.

  • 無機質なようでいて、優しさ・ぬくもりさえ感じるサウンド。彼だからこそ作りえた、音の結晶ですね。

  • Ever better on Living Ornaments 79

  • Thanks for posting. I love this song

Still have my vinyl of this record.

  • here was so cold.....

    you were so slow...

    A+

  • yai 900 viewer! too bad that true artists dont get the 1,000,000 viewers...

  • great song

  • Light years removed from his time , but oh so good in the time of the '80' s

  • @SmartyFan1500 70's my dear.
