When primary results come out, he never wins, and actually "underperforms" vote-wise.. We're told it's because his followers don't vote, yet they're all over the place.. The fix is in and look no further than these secret vote-counting sessions & crooked and easily altered Diebold voting machines that the establishment loves.

Ron Paul is absolutely right that this current system hurts the average person. People would be able to live off their savings, which would be earning 5-10% interest being loaned out to entrepreneurs. We become a country of savers and producers again, instead of debtors and consumers of products not even manufactured in the U.S. We need to reboot the economy and start with sound foundation of a rock solid currency backed by something tangible.

More truth from Ron Paul!

I think Ron must have cringed at the graphic of his picture on a Federal Reserve Note. If the person preparing that were more knowledgable about money, they would have gotten a picture of a US Treasury $20 gold note from the early 1920's and put Rom Paul's picture on it. Prominently visible on the front of the note is: "Twenty Dollars Payable to the Bearer on Demand in Gold Coin".

That's real money.

Interesting point. Paper money with no backing is responsible for undermining domestic industry. Long term trade deficits are only possible when you can print the world's currency. At some point, a country has to produce something that other countries want to import. However, after 20, 30, 40 or more years of exporting dollars to the rest of the world, much of our manufacturing industry has disappeared because it's just so much easier to print dollar than make real goods.

He's like that on many other issues too; (American history, can tie the past to the present so as not to "repeat history". ob/gyn (understands why prices in medical industry are so high). Air Force flight surgeon (1960s); understands the repercussions of U.S. actions around the world (wants troops home); refused the Congressional pension plan; Voted against the bailouts/TARP/Patriot Act/NDAA.
