Down load linux mint 3.0 use the program called envy to set up your video card and after you restart go to the system tools menu to start beryl. Envy is in system tools as well. I hope this helps!
Yes you can it's called tremulous. Look for it in the repository at synaptic. Don't expect any big-name games like NFS, or doom (although tremulous is a port of quake3).
people you've gotta give this os a go, u wont want to go back 2 windows. it works perfectly with black speedtouch
330 with a program called usb adsl modem manager, i have msn messenger, nero and internet explorer 6 and a shit load of games and office stuff and those effects are pukka 2
You see a wavy window, a nice dissappearing effect and the rotating desktop, which I actually liked. However, you saw little of anything else. I really need more substance than some fancy graphics. If I want fancy graphics with no substance I'll look at Vista's Aero interface, the expensive kid's toy.
Actually, Compiz was chosen but yes if you download Feisty you'll be able to enable Compiz (from the Preference menu) even during the LiveCD installation (if you have the right 3D driver for your graphic card (for example it works fine with an Intel one here))
Where can i get it?

linux mint? I use Ubuntu, plain and simple. Oh, and if you're using an nvidia card, the drivers are built-in.

If you want to see substance, download the live CD and try it. If you like it, go ahead and install it.

What do you say: I'm thinking middle click should have control over this.
Throw your cursor over the workspaces boxes, middle-click, and pan.
Middle click on a Windowframe and pan-drag.
Shift+workspace buttons-middle click activates the unfolded cube pan.
Among even more possibilities!

Nice! Does Feisty Fawn come with AIGLX/Beryl as a default, or is this added on after the initial install?
