  • Wow that is so cool, it makes me want dreads even more. Any advice for someone looking to do it?

  • i didnt see them being cut off. that means your still out there with your awesome looking hair. yes it does. Did they honestly go?

  • @Squeaky4CC People had dreads long before the rasta movement. It's even documented that King Tut had dreads, not to mention the nordic vikings. Who are you to say what hairstyle people can have?

Saying only rasta's should have dreads is like saying african American women shouldn't straighten their hair because only white people have straight hair. See it's stupid!

  • awwh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!!!

  • omg wow, like your the FIRST girl i've seen in my life that looks sexy with dreads, dont cut them, you should grow them back if you do

  • its funny to listen you "yay" at the end of the clip. :P

  • Ahhh...the classic "favorite one" everyone has it!

  • they looked great too bad u cut them off

  • nnooooooooo!!!!!!! why?!?

  • you looked really good with them...

  • because she had them just for fashion, many people dont know that dreads also have symbolism and religious rules abt them, for example those that do not wear thm for style would cut all the hair off after the death of a father or mother

  • @hellokiko69 hair is hair is hair, when animals hair locks up into dreads is there a religious meaning behind it or are they just doing it for fashion too?

Nothing against growing dreads for spiritual reasons (other than the reasons i'm against religion all together) but what people want to do with their hair is up to them if there is a meaning behind it or not locks occur naturally with hair, the only meaning they have is any meaning you give them.

religions don't own dreadlocks Hair does.

  • @Jesusplant your missing the point. and that was a terrible analogy taking that animals are primitive and things like religion or fashion does not exist to them. wen a Jewish man wears a keeper is it just a hat? that is the problem with a lot of people these days they think nothing goes beyond what it appears to be. dreads have a deep symbolism to the person that wears them. is it only for certain people of course not. but it is more than just a hairstyle whether you like it or not

  • @hellokiko69 the only thing that makes dreads "more than just a hairstyle" is only what ever meaning they have to the owner/grower of the locks. Locks have been around for ages in nearly every culture. religions may claim some things to be symbolic and meaningful and they may be to you if you believe in such stories, but really the only meaning behind anything is what meaning you believe it has.

My locks symbolize man's none stop march to depopulate the earth.

  • @Jesusplant my point is its history and cultural meaning is unknown to many it can be whatever you want it to be or mean but whatever it may be it is totally beyond you and your meaning. that's just the way it is and no one can change that.

  • @hellokiko69 If you're going to make the statement "it is totally beyond you and your meaning" I need to ask which meaning (religion/culture) do my locks truly represent then?

is it the Yogi's and Indian holy men believe or are they growing because they stand for what the Rastafarian beliefs are, or maybe for what ever meaning vikings wore locks for.

  • @Jesusplant meaning it is beyond the being that does it just to do it. that does it because it looks nice. there is nothing wrong with that but the hindu shiva, massai, sufis, and the Rastafarian will even tell you its not fashion ... true wearers of dreads don't care for vanity. and those that do are oblivious of its true meaning for example my brother that finds the need to twist curl and cut his dreads thinks its just hair and nothing more and he and people that think like him are wrong.

  • @hellokiko69 No i don't fail to see your point i think your point is wrong, You claim dreads are religious and spiritual, yet there are several religious/spiritual reasons for growing dreads my question to you which is right?

You said something like "one would cut off all their hair after the death of a father or mother" now I'm not sure what believe system that one is from, but if you do that your obviously not following Rastafari rule of never cutting your hair.

  • @hellokiko69 I have nothing against anyone growing dreads for spiritual/religious reasons but you can not say that all dreads have meaning to them, animals hair dreads naturally, people get synthetic dreads, some people get dreads starting to form if they just don't brush for a week ... Neglect/Fashion/Hair being Hair none of those have any religious spiritual meanings to them yet those are the reasons some people get dreads, my point is IT IS JUST HAIR nothing more nothing less.

  • @hellokiko69 If you are growing locks for a spiritual/religious reason good for you, but there are many more religions and spiritual views than yours, and i do believe hair was around before religion and dreadlocks were happening even before people started looking them as spiritual/religious.

There are ascetics in India that believe rubbing ashes and cow dung on their locks is sacred and purifying perhaps they are the true right ones.

  • @Jesusplant why do you fail to see the point? what true right one? what belief did i say is the one and only? i am totally aware that there are more religions and beliefs than my own. im not trying to insult your intelligence but please read what i stated carefully. there is no opinion that i am trying to prove that what i believe is right and greater than any other religion or beliefs

  • why would you get rid of them!!??!!?

  • lol

  • You look so cool with them!!!!!Don't cut them off

  • ooh

  • HAHAHAHAH! my mom thinks you are cute, dear. hii lowra.

  • u look good as a mofo w/ them

  • no why...???!! :(

  • good

  • NOOO!!! Don't Do it. But if you did, Cool.
