  • Wjat did Terry wear - his long johns? Classic. These were the good old days of wrestling. Thanks for the momories.

  • a strange odyssey. gordon was the best ever.

  • JJ REALLY sold those Bionic Elbows !!!!!!!

  • Good match....I wish i could find the barbed wire match that they had against each other

  • Terry Funk and Dusty Rhodes had a long heated feud. Another time Terry haad to get Dusty Rhodes help was when Ole Anderson & Stan Hansen turned on Terry Funk.

  • Funks and Dusty on the same side of a fight. Green mist. Grainy tape from the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory. Terry coming out in red longjohns and cowboy boots. Gordon calling it .., A strange odyssey indeed...

  • You have to see the match that Dusty and Terry team up after this in a revenge match against Kendo Nasaki and a young Meng. Dusty gets the win and green fog in the face and Terry Funk turns on him and Dusty of course gives one his his best interviews explaining it all.

  • Terry Funk vs Dusty was a hardcore feud just like raven vs dreamer

  • @thenicholashuber THIS FUED WAS BETTER!!!! 25 yrs running

  • look at JJ selling like a drunk sailor on a skating rink.

I wish there were a lot more Funk v Rhodes matches on here, it was one of the greatest feuds of all time and it went on everywhere

    .

  • @GhostManBrandonDDpre and you really believe this feud?? I flew to New Orleans in 1980 as Terry's companion,Dusty was also on the same plane... He flirted with me shamelessly, at that time I still believed all the hype. After the matches that evening we were all together singing and dancing and joking together at the hotel lounge!!!!

  • hey, it's the j-tex corp.

  • "Anytime you find one Funk, you'll find the other!" True enough. I could watch clips from this period all day long.

  • great familys of wrestling: von erichs, funks, garvins, ortons, johnson,

  • Nobody better than Gordon Solie. I had the honor to listen to Mr. Solie every Saturday for several years in the late 1970's and early 80's.

  • @samsdaddy0525 florida or georgia? or both?

  • @TheBigBadWoIf

Florida starting in 1978 through 1984. The 70's were better because Dusty was in his prime still.

I did get to see a little Georgia wrestling in the late 70's, but just a little.

  • @candylover525 cool. i grew up on championship rasslin from florida w/gordon solie during the late 70s through the mid 80s until they closed up shop.

kevin sullivan, the mulligans/windhams, kendo nagasaki, mr saito & mr sato....good stuff.

  • @TheBigBadWoIf the whole southeast was the wrestlin cap of the world in the 70's Don Carson saved my mom's life and I LOVE WRESTLIN IN THE 70'S & 80'S

  • Respond to this video... AND ARCHIE "THE MONGOLIAN STOMPER" was

Don Carson's roommate. All he ever wanted to do besides EAT was play chessss.......... never would have guessed it would you, LOL

  • @TheBigBadWoIf Sorry, I replied to you under my daughter's name. Florida was a great territory in the 70's and into the early 80's.

  • Dusty always said the greatest feud he ever had was not against Flair, but against Terry Funk. Awesome Rivalry.

  • This is what wrestling is :)
