this is straight up arcade action,and I can accept this for what it is. Madden claims to run sim football,but,some of the nonsense that happens in it,looks really frustrating as opposed to NFL Blitz.where the cartoonish environment makes it fun to play. All video games bloodlines come from the flash and sounds of the Arcade,where you put in your quarters and you know the machine gave you a taste to get you hooked,so you could keep draining your pockets.

It is, but soon, real NFL players started mimicking the moves and getting in trouble, and that's when the NFL forced Midway to tone down the game's violence for the remaining Blitz games that would use the NFL's teams.

that doesnt sound real. late hits in the NFL are illegal and penalized and i dont remember players doing it cuz of some stupid football video game. thats like saying nba players started pushing eachother hard cuz of nba jam so the nba told nba jam makers to tone it down. that just makes no sense.
