when he shampoos his hair, he needs the conditioner after. that closes the cuticle and keeps the color in. dont wash all the color out because it will keep coming out as long as that cuticle is open. :)

@gorillafilmcrew It's a long 6-12 month process if you're doing the all natural thing and you can start it off with twists or braids. Though if you do the hair extension thing (use TOP quality kinky hair!!), usually it's started off as a braid and palm rolled and your locks just appear.

I think it depends on how long your locs are. Because that dye will eventually change it's color so you might want to consider that. And also so some research on what dye does to the hair.
