Nah. Jazz didn't have a prayer against Megatron. Only Optimus can really stand against him one on one. Maybe Ironhide too, though he'd need to get very lucky. But Jazz is only mid tier Autobot at best.

This is how the movie should've ended. Instead of Sam saving Optimus's ass after he was whooped by Megatron, Prime kills him himself. All of a sudden, Prime's a kick ass fighter in TF2

because one has nothing to do with the other (oddly) Ya see, the Decepticon Story is an alternate ending/version which never really existed. It shows what WOULDVE happened if Decepticons won, but in the movie's case, Autobots won. That's why it's always confusing people when they put alternate endings in movie games...

It's a cutscene in the middle of the fight. There are 3-4 phases of the entire battle and that's shown in between one or all of the phases.
