If your going to tank it down a dual carriage way like that, why not just buy a petrol...you'd get about the same MPG (around 10-15 at that speed)...

Or if you went half that speed youd get 55-60...which is why I bought a diesel...not to go fast lol

Well, for multiple reasons :)

1) Its a diesel, for diesel heads.

2) Can be tuned upto 200BHP (easily)

3) Can also drive 60mph and keep its 55mpg eco.

A petrol simply can not do this.
