I don't cover stuff from back then though cause the back up tracks are horrible...back when the studios where all analog and done cheaply. They've come a LONG way since then. As for Idol...would you believe me if I told you I tried out sept 08 for the 09 season and was turned down before I ever hit Randy, Simon, and Paula..."Too country"

Not only that, I found out later that Simon watched my "Man in the mirror" vid and showed it to Danyl Johnson for some tips on how to sing it for X factor etc. He really liked it. It was an honor...but I never heard personally from him. Would have been nice! =0)
